We recently celebrated our 50^th Anniversary in our current facility and our 60^th Anniversary as Ionia County Memorial Hospital. 

 

We are a 25-bed critical access hospital accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).  Accreditation by JCAHO is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that indicates we meet certain performance standards. 

 

In the fall of 2004 we received our 3 year certificate with JCAHO.

In the spring of 2005 we received the Governor’s Award for Excellence in a hospital setting. We were named the 2003 Chamber Member of the Year from the Ionia Chamber of Commerce.

 

Ionia County Memorial Hospital is the only hospital in Ionia County (population of 60,000) and located between Lansing and Grand Rapids, off the 1-96 corridor.  A full range of clinical services, including many innovative programs generally found only in large urban hospitals, are available to everyone in this rural community.  

ICMH has been providing high quality, compassionate care for over 60 years.  We are continually building today for a better tomorrow.
