IONIA - Blake Miller had ridden just about every ride at the
Ionia Free Fair Saturday night when he and his family were making
their way back to their car.
“Then he wanted to ride that
one,” said Brandon Miller, Blake Miller's cousin, pointing to the
“Fireball” ride on the Midway.
Eight-year-old Blake, who
lived with his father on Bricker Road between Belding and
Greenville, stopped breathing just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday while
riding the attraction and was pronounced deceased about 55 minutes
later at Ionia County Memorial Hospital.
