20/20
Study
This was a citizen opinion survey that was conducted in 1992. The survey
focused on five topics: Community Services, Education, Economy, Land use
and the Environment, and Decisions for the Future.
Business Retention
This study was conducted in 1996 to better understand the issues that
faced Ionia County Business. The study focused on Business Retention and
Expansion.
(CAT) Ionia County Community Audit Team Report
This study was conducted in 1996 and 1997. The main focus of the study
was to find ways to protect and improve the quality of life and yet encourage
economic development. Some of the main topic in the study included: Zoning
Issues in the Future, Tourism, and Other Stable Types of Industry.
M-66 Corridor Study
The M-66 Corridor Study Committee was conducted in 1996 and was comprised
of local officials from Ionia County, the Ionia County Economic Alliance,
the Ionia County Road Commission and several individual governmental unit
along the M-66 Corridor. The goal of the study and the committee was to
find ways to meet the changing demands of the area
